AVAILABLE PIECES
The artisans in Guerrero are real creative geniuses that possess all the abilities that are demanded of a great designer. They are creatives with a notion for proportion, color, ergonomics, production lines and marketing and whose abilities are rarely in touch with the consumption systems that value these skills. The process of creating a piece is laborious: foraging the palm, cleaning it, boiling it, drying it and beating it tender to later delicately weave it. This is completely tackled by the women within the artisan families. The designer Berke Gold has created these visionary pieces with the women artisans.
