The NAUI centre table is a sculptural piece of furniture made out of lava stone or recinto. This work translates Pedro Cerisola’s continuous design experimentation and investigation of modular structures. The materiality of both lava stone and glass present in this piece embody the seemingly opposing spirits of robustness and delicacy. Each module is carved manually from a monolithic piece of lava stone. NAUI is the product of a challenge conforming an innovative circular structure with a single modular shape manifesting the dynamic understanding of geometry throughout Pedro Cerisola’s work.

“Numbers are just one of the languages of mathematics’, says Cerisola, ‘And I prefer the language of space to understand it”
Pedro Cerisola’s work finds expression in complex patterns of symmetry – the beauty that emerges from equilibrium. The NAUI table, as with all his work, is a product of expert design combined with profound research in the fields of physics and mathematics. ‘Numbers are just one of the languages of mathematics’, says Cerisola, ‘And I prefer the language of space to understand it’.
