GLIDER is a new concrete desk with wood plane. Franz Ferro’s concrete desk is an elegant piece of ‘stone’, perfect to get blown away in one's tasks. The piece distinguishes itself through its pure form. A simple concrete volume - consisting of the concrete cabinet itself and a heavy side panel - supports the wooden plane. The weight of the concrete mass balances perfectly with the extruding wood panel. 'Gliding' on two small supports, the desk looks like floating through water or taking off at any time.
