The Beauty Show was a blockbuster exhibition conceived and curated by the graphic designers Stefan Sagmeister and Jessica Walsh, for the MAK. The BEAUTY chandelier was commissioned for this show and is a magnificent 3-tier chandelier, with 8 arms per tier, 24 arms, and 24 bulbs in total. It is made in Thierry Jeannot's emblematic techniques of using recycled, up-cycled PET plastic bottle parts. It was specifically commissioned for the museum show BEAUTY, at the MAK, the Museum of Applied Arts, in Vienna, Austria. The museum later acquired the chandelier, which is now part of its permanent collection.
